Tim McGraw is no stranger to crossing the lines of music genres. The country star made waves in 2004 when he appear on hip-hop artist Nelly's album, Suit. Over and Over became a big hit. On McGraw's Emotional Traffic album, R&B artist Ne-Yo was featured on Tim's Only Human song.
McGraw and Ne-Yo are back at it. Ne-Yo releases a new album in November. R.E.D. (not to be confused with Taylor Swift's Red album which releases later in October) will feature a duet with Ne-Yo and McGraw. The song is Realizing Every Dream.
The search of the bus found 36 small bags of heroin, a loaded .45 caliber pistol, and 10 pounds of marijuana. In case you were unaware, that is a substantial amount of pot.
Seven people were passengers on the bus and they were all detained, including Nelly. A passenger, Brain Keith Jones, said the drugs and gun were his. Nelly denies that he knew there were drugs on his bus. He told TMZ, "Neither I nor anyone else on the tour bus was aware of his decision to bring these on board. Law enforcement officials did not press charges against anyone other than that individual.”
This song exists.
Rihanna will release a new album called Unapologetic on November 19. It will be the seventh full studio album for the young popstar. Last month, we heard the first single from the record, Diamonds.
Ke$ha will release an autobiography called My Crazy Beautiful Life on November 20, which is only a couple of weeks before the pop-star drops her new album, Warrior.
"Sometimes, it feels as if the last few years have encompassed a few decades. You might have heard my voice on the radio, seen me onstage and on the red carpet, or in a music video, but that's only a part of the story. In these pages, I'm revealing a more complete picture of what my life is really like. It's not all glamorous and it's not all pretty, but it's all real."
Taylor Swift scored her first Billboard 100 hit with We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together from her upcoming Red album. In an interview with Esquire magazine, Taylor Swift discussed just how much the song is on the nose:
"It's very final, it's very aggressive, and it's not subtle."
She is right. Here is one of the verses from the song:
"I used to think that we were forever ever
And I used to say, "Never say never"
Ugh, so he calls me up and he's like, "I still love you,"
And I'm like, "I just...I mean this is exhausting, you know, like,
We are never getting back together. Like, ever.'"
Definitely not subtle. But, it is incredibly catchy. It was the fastest selling digital single in history. The video has received over 44 million views on Youtube.
