Taylor Swift scored her first Billboard 100 hit with We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together from her upcoming Red album.  In an interview with Esquire magazine, Taylor Swift discussed just how much the song is on the nose:

"It's very final, it's very aggressive, and it's not subtle."

She is right.  Here is one of the verses from the song:

"I used to think that we were forever ever
And I used to say, "Never say never"
Ugh, so he calls me up and he's like, "I still love you,"
And I'm like, "I just...I mean this is exhausting, you know, like,
We are never getting back together. Like, ever.'"

Definitely not subtle.  But, it is incredibly catchy.  It was the fastest selling digital single in history.  The video has received over 44 million views on Youtube.
