Juneteenth marks the moment that enslaved people in Galveston, Texas received word of the abolishment of slavery, more than two years after President Abraham Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation. On June 19th, we honor and celebrate the day all Black Americans became free. Juneteenth Fundraiser for Heal Charlotte
- Visit Brewers at 4001 Yancey from 4-8 pm. A portion of the proceeds will be given to Heal Charlotte to help fund their after school programs, plus they'll receive 100% of proceeds from 704 merchandise. Learn more here.
